Stocking Stuffer Channelings

Christmastime is my favorite time of year. It seems that the holiday evolves with me, through my childhood in a Jewish neighborhood, through my parent's divorce, through my conversion to Celtic paganism. It forever brings up questions for the religious and non-religious alike. But, unmistakably, there is Christmas cheer. The Spirit of Christmas is alive and well, assuring us that the energy that comes with the month of December is palpable, delicious and very real.
I grew up in New York and lived in Manhattan the better part of the last 12 years, and no matter where you come from, what tradition you practice, Christmas in New York is impossible to avoid. You begin to hear the carols in all the stores around Halloween. By Thanksgiving, the streets are lit up, Christmas trees are everywhere and Santa is asking you for money on every corner. People aren't just shopping, for a month or so everyone is looking in you in the eye! Somehow the whole city celebrates their holidays together. For me it is a magical time.
For this month's article, I decided to do stocking stuffer channelings with whatever guide decided to spread some cheer through my 7th chakra.
In comes the Spirit of Christmas, loud and clear from the Heaven! Celebrate, young children, this time of wholeness, of completion. As you end the cycle of this solar year you can be certain that the evaluation will take place. And this is the evaluation of sprit, how is your sprit? You see, this Christmas time, winter solstice and New Years is of course about the review. And the energy that comes through is joyous, because no matter your accomplishment, or lack of accomplishments it is time to celebrate the birth of who you area, over and over. Each year provides many opportunities to be reborn, but collectively, the western world does it at this time, and so the energy is strong and supportive as humanity comes together for this common purpose. Family is reunited and that is the best way to find out where your work might be done!! For the family always brings out the shadow, and you will have a good, long winter to be with that shadow and explore it for healing. It is also time to be thankful for all that you have, for whatever it is that you have must last you through the cold winter. If your winter is not cold, it does change things, indeed you are still able to feel different energy, what is it for you? Where we decide to live geographically dictates much of our process and so, allow this to happen. It is not necessary to remove religions, or to remove a holiday, but the spirit of Christmas, the Spirit of Yule finds it important to honor the land, and the changing season, however dramatic or however subtle. If you are to align yourself with the land, and how the cosmic forces live inside the land, you will understand how to work with your own shifts and changes in a much clearer way. So if you are in Miami, and the weather becomes more glorious than you could imagine this winter, tap into the fact that it is no longer hurricane season, that there is the calm after the storm, that a gestation period begins to occur on this level. How does that feel for you?
In this way much is balanced in the world, as we are all experiencing different seasons at different times. We are all reflections of each other. I, the Spirit of Yule bring you tidings and goodwill during this most fortuitous time, during the time where you find the gifts, and give thanks for all that you have. I thank you.
What day was I born? Who cares! What day were you born? What day was the great Lord born? On any day, on any given moment. In this moment! I rest here in this time of year as a simple offering from the Roman Catholic Church…(chuckles) and that is to remember love, to remember your grace as you decide to birth yourself into the darker times of winter. As you embrace the light within you hold you safe in the coming monuments of great change. And this great change is happening whether you like it or not. I encourage you to like it. For as you continue to sink into your Christ heart, these changes become part of your life path, they become part of the collective mission of humanity, of which you are a part. Do not separate yourselves, dear children from these changes, but allow yourself the Christ heart to go with the flow into the coming times. Do not worry so about the details. Know that your work of love is paying off in your moment to moment experience of the Creator, and for that you are filled with love, as the Creator, loves you so. As I love you. We are all working together here for the greater good of love, of the rising of humanity, of Mother Earth, so let us hold hands, brothers and sisters and do this walk of joy. In love, in faith, in devotion, Jesus.
The Masters of One are all around you, in the space of timelessness. In the space of what is next For we cannot know what is next, only where we are in this moment. The Christmas Spirit, as you say, is the love of creator shining forth so strong that you cannot help but create multiple days to celebrate this love. Open up just a little to this force and you will feel jolly. At Samhain, the spirits are close, but at Yule the Creator is right there in your heart. The veils are even thinner, and the contact to the great Love is there for you, for all of you. How could you not give gifts to your loved ones, whether they are material or simply the love in your heart. This is Creator's time to be with her/his children. To love them completely. This is the true Christmas spirit. To bring all this love with you through the winter, even if you are agnostic, or atheist, that Love is there for you. You need not believe in anything, but if you let yourself feel, the Love of the universe is with you, is with Earth. And this love of Creator shines in different parts of the earth in different times of the year. Is it ever not there? Of course not, it is always within, but certain times of year the quality, or quantity becomes more evident all around you. It becomes easier to feel.
For the heartbroken on Christmas, for the alone, know that this time is about God first, about Love first, about Creator first, and let that force hold you through this time. Do not be dependent on another for the experience of this year, you may cry into the arms of Love instead, knowing you're held and cared for. And that this time of pain will end and it will shift.
Allow this love of Creator to be planted into the earth, for when the soil is ready to be worked again, she will be fertile and full of Love, full of bounty. The harvest never stops. Let this love be planted into your creative projects, into your relationships, your children, your parents and all of your family. There is so much to go around. We masters love to hang around the earth planes during this time, enjoying the festivities and offering our services to those in need. Remember that you are as powerful as any "master" and you are needed. Fill your cup with Creator and let it overflow!!!
